WHAT ARE ANNOTATIONS?
Annotation tools allow users to add details to a document. Account Admins and Employees have access to all annotation tools, while signers may have limited or no access depending on transaction settings.
If you set your document's "Customer Can Annotate" toggle to green (ON), your signer will have access to the following tools for notarizing your document:
If you keep your document's "Customer Can Annotate" toggle grey (OFF), your signer will have a more limited set of tools to notarize your document:
