Anyone who wants to rent a PB box, postal mailbox, or contract a virtual mail provider must complete and notarize the PS1583. This form is required by the USPS for any agent to receive mail on your behalf.

The PS1583 form is required by any commercial mail receiving agent (CMRAs), such as companies like Earth Class Mail, Virtual Post Mail, and others. Many of these companies direct their customers to Notarize where they can easily complete the document with one of our remote notary publics located in Virginia.

The PS1583 is a complicated document and is often filled out incorrectly. It is important that you follow the instructions sent to you by your mail provider. And, as always, don’t sign the document before connecting to Notarize… you will need to sign before one of our agents for it to be notarized.
