The law requires us to use a Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) to verify each signer's identity before connecting with a notary. The personal information entered during this step is used to query public record (like your credit history, vehicle registration, etc.) to generate a series of questions that only you should be able to answer. 

The five questions are presented in a multiple-choice fashion. There is always the option to choose None Of The Above if that is truly the most appropriate answer to the question! You'll have two minutes to complete the security questions before proceeding.

We allow signers to try answering the security questions twice before they are locked out for 24 hours.   

We know that it may be frustrating but this is ultimately for your security.  Please try again with us after waiting 24 hours. You will again have two minutes to answer your questions and get two attempts.
