When adding new members to your account, you'll have the ability to choose whether they're an admin, team member, or mortgage closing reviewer. If you're unsure which to select for each member, keep the following permissions in mind to ensure you're giving access to the appropriate member.

Admin:

  • Company Settings including the ability to edit account name, payment details, logo, and smart routing details.
  • Resources including API Keys and ResWare Integrations.
  • Add and remove other team members from the account.
  • Place new orders.
  • View other transactions created by any member of the team.
  • Edit and delete draft transactions created by any member of the team.

Team Member:

  • Edit smart routing details within the company settings.
  • API Keys resource.
  • Place new orders.
  • View other transactions created by any member of the team.
  • Edit and delete draft transactions created by any member of the team.

Mortgage Closing Reviewer:

  • View smart routing details within the company settings.
  • View other transactions created by any member of the team (including drafts).

If you're wondering whether or not your colleague has activated their account, navigate to the Team tab for confirmation (available to the account Owner and Admin level users only).

  • The green Enabled status means they've created a password and can log in to their activated Notarize for Title Account. There's no further action needed!
  • The gray Pending status means they have not activated their account. If they're having trouble locating their account activation email, you can cancel their invite by clicking on the Account tab to the right of their name, and selecting Cancel Invitation. Just send them a new activation link by using the Add New Team Member functionality again.
