Mobile Web Scanning
What is this?
We added a Scanbot to allow signers to scan documents on their mobile devices when accessing mobile web transactions instead of forcing them to upload documents saved to their phones. Using the Scanbot, signers can take a picture of their physical paper documents when uploading to Notarize. (Signers can still choose to upload documents saved to their phones.)

Annotations in-meeting via Mobile Web (and UI updates!)
What is this?
We built signer annotations in meeting on the mobile web. Previously, if there weren’t designations already placed for the signer on the document, they couldn’t edit their document at all during the meeting, they had to rely on the notary to place designations for them.
Now signers will be able to edit and fill out their document via the mobile web during the meeting without requiring assistance from the notary, just like they can on desktop web and mobile apps.
Who does this impact?
- Availability: General Availability
- Transaction Types: All transactions where "signer can annotate" functionality is enabled
