The Update Order button will become the Replace Order button on the Notarize eClosing form in Encompass for hybrid transactions after they are completed by signers. This button should be used to replace the completed transaction with a new order for signers to sign, should you need to send an updated order.
If a hybrid transaction is already completed and needs to be updated and re-signed, we advise using the Replace Order to make your updates and resend a brand new package to the signer(s). Clicking this button will recall the transaction, perform a soft delete, and replace the order with all new blank documents for the signer(s) to resign.
Since you are placing a brand new order, the package(s) currently in the eFolder will get pulled over again to Notarize. Note that we will apply deduplication logic, so if there are multiple attachments for the same closing documents, will only pull the latest version.
