If you want to use your phone for audio instead of your computer for a meeting, these steps will show you how to connect to the audio portion of a web session through your mobile device.
Notaries may guide signers through these steps if the signer is experiencing audio issues.

Need to Know
🚨Important Notes🚨
- The platform is currently not accepting international dial-ins. (No out-of-country numbers.)
- Notaries: Refer the signer to the mobile app if you cannot get a connection from someone outside of the United States.
- You must be connected to audio and video through the Notarize platform for the duration of the meeting. Audio connections through a separate app are not acceptable.

📝 Notes:
- The computer microphone is automatically muted when the signer uses phone audio.
- The phone call automatically end upon meeting termination/completion.
Steps for Signer
- Click the 3 dots under the video feed to open Settings
- Click the phone button
- Click 'Dial in for Audio'

The signer receives a call on their phone from our Twilio number upon entering the meeting. This number appears on the signer's phone to allow them to speak with the notary:
