Hybrid with eNote: Borrower Experience

Learn what to expect during the online portion of your Hybrid with eNote closing with Notarize.

You’ll Need a Device with Internet Access

• Windows or Mac computer with a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• Apple mobile device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) using the Notarize app
• Android mobile device (tablet or smartphone) using the Notarize app

Steps

1. Start the session. You will receive an email from your lender "You have closing documents ready to sign" that contains a link to sign your documents.
   • Select Sign Documents Now to get started. If you're on a mobile device, you'll be taken to the app store to install the Notarize app.
     
     
2. Create your Notarize account by entering a password when prompted. Your email address will serve as your username. Once you're signed in, select Sign Now.
   
   
3. Verify your identity by filling out your date of birth, the last 4 of your social security number, and your address. Once that's filled out, select Continue.
   
   
4. Answer 5 security questions within 2 minutes. These questions are based on your credit history.
   
   
5. Review your documents and click Sign Now to sign and initial your documents.
   
   
6. Preview Documents: Once you're finished eSigning, you can preview and download your completed documents.
   
   
7. You are finished with the online portion. The title company will schedule a meeting with an in-person Notary to physically sign the rest of your mortgage documents.
