If you need to update a transaction that has already been sent to the signer(s), you could use the Recall from Signers button on the Notarize eClosing form in Encompass to recall the transaction and transition the order to a Recalled state in Notarize (which is es+sentially a draft transaction).
Procedure
You can recall a transaction after it has been sent to the Signer from Notarize (see How to Recall a Transaction). You can also recall the order directly from the Notarize eClosing form in Encompass.
Signers will receive an email alerting them that the transaction is being updated, and they will receive a new email to sign the documents after you resend the transaction.
You can use the Update Order button for any updates to the transaction. The transaction in Notarize will show as being in a recalled state, but you update it just as you would a draft transaction. You should see your updates made to the transaction. Any new documents ordered to the eFolder should be replaced on the transaction in Notarize. See How are Documents Pulled from Encompass to Notarize? for more information.
When you finish making updates to the loan and/or documents, log in to the Notarize portal and click Send to Signers for Hybrid Transaction types and Send to Title for Online Closings.
Please note, with auto-send enabled, clicking Update Order from within Encompass will automatically send the order.
