Steps to add a new employee notary to your Notarize business account. If you want to edit permissions for an In-House Notary (IHN), read Edit or Disable Team Members and Notaries.
Note: Only admins & owners can add, edit, or disable team members, including notaries.
🎯Primary Audience: Notarize for Business
- Log in to your account at business.notarize.com.
- From the top navigation of your Notarize account, click Resources.
- Select Team from the dropdown menu.
- On the left, click Invite New.
- Role: Choose Team Member from the dropdown.
- Choose Yes from the dropdown to indicate that this person will notarize documents.
- Select the state in which the notary is commissioned.
- Click Send Invite.
- The notary will receive an email at the address provided.
