Participants can open In-Meeting Chat, and view and send messages to each other.
The chat feature is helpful to:
- Communicate with participants with hearing or speech impairments. The chat feature allows for communication between participants, ensuring that people with a hearing or speech impairment can complete transactions on Notarize.
- Resolve technical audio issues with a participant. Before In-Meeting Chat, there was no way to communicate how to troubleshoot the audio problems instead resorted to writing instructions on post-it notes or the document. With In-Meeting Chat, participants can communicate with each other and resolve issues. No more Post-its!
