Printing your notarized document from Notarize is quick and easy. If you’ve been experiencing issues, we recommend trying the following steps to get you back on track and on your way.

Many institutions accept notarized documents electronically; you may not have to print your document. After checking with the receiving party, you may be able to send the document via email.

 If printing is necessary:

Mac:

  • If you are opening your documents in Preview, you may be prompted for a password. Instead, please open your document in Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is free and industry standard for reliable viewing and printing PDF documents.
  • If you do not have Adobe Reader installed, you may download it at https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
  • Once you have Adobe Reader installed, you may download your document by following the instructions in the email you received from Notarize following your notarization. Or, you may log into your account at Notarize.com, and follow these instructions:
  1. From the “Your Documents” screen, click “View” next to the document you wish to print,
  2. Click “Document,”
  3. Hover on the bottom on the right-hand side of the document,
  4. Click the green “Download All” button.
  • You will see two supplemental documents in addition to your notarized document. One is titled "Document Verification Instructions" and the other is "Notarize Overview and [YOUR STATE] Legal Information"
  • We recommend you provide these supplemental documents to the document recipient along with your notarized documents to provide relevant legal and electronic notarization information.
