Once the notary has ended the video call, you may be wondering, what’s next? 

After the video call with the commission notary public, you can expect the following: 

If you are using an iOS device: 

  1. The notary will end the session.
  2. You will be prompted to pay for the transaction
  3. After successful payment, no further action is needed
  4. Simply stay in the app, and you will be direct to your document 
  5. You may follow the prompts to share electronically 
  6. OR hit “Done” to return to the “Your Documents” page
  7. Following the session, you will also receive an email with a link to retrieve your document. DO NOT forward this email. Third parties will NOT be able to access your document via the forwarded email.  

If you are using a computer: 

  1. The notary will end the session first
  2. You will see a confirmation message and your receipt. 
  3. On this window, “click “Documents” 
  4. You will be taken to the “Your Documents”  page
  5. Click on “View” to see your completed document, verification page, and legal page. 
  6. From this screen, you may download or share your document 
  7. Following the session, you will also receive an email with a link to retrieve your document. DO NOT forward this email. Third parties will NOT be able to access your document via the forwarded email.  

You will receive two emails:

  1. A receipt of your notarization - If the receipt looks to be incorrect in any way, please forward the receipt to support@notarize.com and provide an explanation of the error. 
  2. A transaction confirmation email with a link to access your account and document. DO NOT FORWARD THIS EMAIL.
  •       This email should arrive in less than 10 minutes after the notarization. If it             doesn’t, fear not. You may view your document by logging into Notarize and       following the “Access your Account” instructions below. 
  •       You may click on the “View and Share Document” button to access the login       page. 
  •        Enter your credentials including your email and password (the same                    information you entered when you signed up for Notarize)!
  •        At this point, you be directed to the “Your Documents” page. 
  •        You may then download, print, or share your notarized document.

You may access your account and documents 24x7

From Computer:

  • Navigate to Notarize.com in Chrome or Firefox.
  • Click “Sign In” in the upper right corner of the browser window.
  • Enter your email and password then click “Sign In”.
  • You will be directed to the “Your Documents” page. 
  • From the Your Documents Page, you may view completed documents, unsigned documents, and documents being processed.
  •       Completed documents may be viewed, shared, or downloaded
  •       Unsigned documents may be signed
  •       Processing documents are still processing and will be completed soon 
  • For more options, you may click on your name in the upper right corner. Then, select settings. This will give you the option to update your settings, access help, view the FAQs, and view the Terms & Conditions.  

From iOS Device: 

  • Navigate to the Notarize app
  • If you are not already signed in, you may sign in using your email and password. 
  • Once you are signed in, you will arrive at the “Your Documents page. 
  • From the Your Documents Page, you may view completed documents, unsigned documents, and documents being processed.
  •       Completed documents may be viewed, shared, or downloaded
  •       Unsigned documents may be signed
  •       Processing documents are still processing and will be completed soon
  • For more options, you may click on the gear icon in the upper left corner. You may then select Account, Personal Details, Payment, Help & FAQ, Terms & Conditions, and Licenses.
